Start with customer and offer

Separate customer groups by buying need, decision process and value to the business. For each priority group, state the problem you solve and why the offer fits. An established company can use permitted customer conversations and commercial records to test its assumptions rather than starting from a blank marketing persona.

Connect channels to sales capacity

Choose channels with a clear route to a sales conversation or order. Define who follows up, what qualifies interest and when to stop pursuing an unsuitable opportunity. Demand without available follow-up capacity can create a queue rather than growth. Check operational delivery constraints before making new promises.

Turn the plan into a working loop

Give each stage an owner, a CRM status and a next action. Review conversion between meaningful stages and the reasons opportunities stall. Change the offer, channel or process based on those findings. GTM is the route to market; the operating routines make that route usable day after day.
